Originally released in 1973, hit soap opera The Young and The Restless has repeatedly made major waves over the years. Following a power tussle for Genoa city between the Newmans and the Abbotts, the show portrays the lengths to which the rich and powerful are willing to go to achieve their goals.
In general, The Young and The Restless fans are aware of the show being consistently rated in the ranks of the best. However, what some of them may not know is that their paychecks also follow the same pattern. Here are some of the richest cast members of the show.
8 Tracey E. Bregman - $7 million
Best known for her character, Lauren Fenmore who appeared in The Young and The Restless, as well as The Bold and the Beautiful, Tracey E. Bregman has stamped her place in history as one of the most successful actresses of television. Bregman has featured in several soap opera series, such as her brief appearance as Donna Temple Craig in Days of Our Lives from 1978 till 1980. In addition to her daytime drama features, she also released a clothing line motivated by yoga in 2004 which was displayed in the Belle Gray Boutique, L.A., a store owned by fellow actress and friend Lisa Rinna. Bregman is currently estimated to be worth $7 million dollars from her acting career and a series of investments, one of which is a Jewelry line called the Tracey Bregman Collection, whose launch was featured on The Shopping Channel.

7 Melody Thomas Scott - $7 million
Melody Thomas Scott has been on The Young and The Restless for a while, as she joined the cast in 1979 portraying the character of Nikki Newman shortly after the show kicked off in 1973. Apart from her success on this soap opera, the famed actress also has several other television and film credits to her name. Although in most of her roles, she simply appeared as herself.
However, in others, she was either a guest star or portrayed a character; some of these appearances include My Name is Earl and Castle,The Crazy Ones and The King of Queens. Scott gained most of her financial success from her role in The Young and The Restless, which has earned her an estimated net worth of $7 million. Outside acting, she is also a published author who wrote a book about her time on the show called ‘Always Young and Restless: My Life On and Off America's #1 Daytime Drama’
6 Gina Tognoni - $9 million
Gina Tognoni joined The Young and The Restless as Phyllis Summer in 2014, shortly after the exit of Michelle Stafford who left to chase other career opportunities. Tognoni quickly rose to become a fan favorite cast member after nailing the part. However, her success on the show came as no surprise to many as she is a renowned soap opera veteran. She entered into the field of daytime drama in 1994 and appeared in a series of shows including Guiding Light, Venice: The Series and One Life To Live. Over the course of her acting career, Tognoni has been able to build a $9 million empire. It also earned her three Emmy awards, along with other recognitions.
5 Peter Bergman - $10 million
Peter Bergman started out his acting career on CBS playing the role of Dr. Cliff Warner in the hit series Kojak. Although he played the role in Kojak for a decade, he didn’t get his big break until he joined The Young and The Restless cast later in 1989 playing Jack Abbott. Bergman has been extensively successful from daytime drama appearances and thus has earned him an estimated net worth of $10 million. Apart from his appearances on The King of Queens and The Bold and The Beautiful, Bergman has only appeared in a limited number of films. As his credits outside daytime drama are Palamino, Money, Murder and Fantasies.

4 Christel Khalil - $16.7 million
While most fans got to know her as Lily Winters from The Young and The Restless, Christel Khalil has been in the industry for a while. She started her career as a child actor at the age of six. Shortly after, she won a Daytime Emmy award in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress.
To date, Khalil is the first and only minority actress to have been able to achieve this in the world. She went on to star in several films and television shows including The Jamie Foxx Show, You're Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley's Christmas Party, Interview With The Assassin and 2 Broke Girls. Khalil is currently estimated to be worth $16.7 million.
3 Daniel Goddard - $16.7 million
Daniel Goddard is an Australian actor who has made an amazing career out of starring in soap operas. The star earned his first big break at home in an Australian soap called Home and Away. Immediately after that, he became recognized internationally and got offered the lead role in a Canadian series called BeastMaster, a show which gave him the opportunity to write six of its episodes. While filming, he was also recognized for his good looks and landed a couple of high-profile modeling gigs with major brands including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana.
His next big appearance was The Young and The Restless where he still plays the role of Cane Ashby. Goddard was also recognized for his good looks by the CBS network which earned him a brief modeling gig on the show The Prince Is Right. He is estimated to be worth $16.7 million. Apart from a couple of movie credits, most of his money was earned through his time in soap operas and modeling contracts.

2 Eric Braeden - $25 million
Consistently playing the role of Victor Newman since 1980 is American actor Eric Braeden. While he reprised his role in The Young and The Restless for several seasons, Braeden also worked on a couple of other projects in between the filming. Some of these include Hawaii Five-O, The Bold and the Beautiful, Gunsmoke and How I Met Your Mother. He also had film appearances such as in Escape from the Planet of the Apes and Titanic. Despite having all of these other credits, most of the star's $25 million net worth came from his role as Victor Newman.
1 Lauralee Bell - $200 million
Even though she is the daughter of Lee Phillip and William J. Bell, the creators of The Young and The Reckless, as well as The Bold and The Beautiful, Lauralee Bell did not have it easy. She made her debut acting appearance with the role of a model on the The young and The Restless in 1983. A few years later, the actress was offered the role of Christine Blair, a character which she managed to build from the ground up. In addition to her success as an actress, she also won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2013 for procuring the hit web series mI promise. The star is currently estimated to be worth $200 million which was earned through her acting career and production.
