These gorgeous PC cases from Computex will make you want to build a new system (2024)

Computex is the annual computer show and a testing ground for companies to showcase truly whacky builds. We've always been blown away by what we're able to gaze at on the floor and 2024 is no exception with plenty of jaw-dropping PC cases on show. After cruising around the booths, we're ready to highlight some exceptional PC cases to inspire your next project with different form factors catering to various designs and build plans.

Azza stole the show with plenty of glass

I'm not sure how easy it will be to build a PC

We're starting with Azza, a company responsible for some of the most sleek-looking PC cases and unique designs. Whether you're in the market for a standard ATX mid-tower chassis for a gaming PC or something slightly different, there's a good chance an Azza case at Computex would stand out from the crowd. One even resembled a large tower air conditioning unit with an oval cylindrical design and plenty of glass.

Not everyone enjoys an outlandish look with more RGB lighting than a local club, where the company's range of traditional cases comes into play. The Azza Guardian is not only stunning with a tasteful illuminated plastic front panel resembling that of the wooden radiator on the Fractal Design North. Speaking of which, you can even opt for a wooden front without any lighting. It's be easier to build a PC inside the standard layout and still enjoy solid performance.

The Azza Cube and Regis are instantly recognizable with their elevated cube design. Armed to the teeth with integrated RGB through diffused light bars and powerful fans, these cases are perfect for anyone looking for a unique build for an area where all sides can be showcased. It's not all for show either as the Cube has a dual chamber design enabling you to build a clean system that performs well with ample fan mounts and radiator support.

Thermaltake remains the king of liquid cooling

These cases beg for some custom modding

Many Thermaltake PC cases are designed for shows such as Computex. The Tower and Core series offer excellent liquid-cooling support with whacky designs and support for modding. There's a Tower 300 with its radiator located outside the chassis for maximum thermal transfer from the GPU and CPU, and some clean systems with standard custom loops. It's easy to take one of Thermaltake's cases and create something special with little prior knowledge or experience with PC modding.

What stood out at the Thermaltake booth was this heavily modded Tower 300 system. The entire chassis has been painted with the front window replaced with a small fold-out display panel, clearly outputting a Windows video feed. It's the usual Tower 300 affair inside the case with custom liquid-cooling parts, powerful internals, and RGB-enabled fans. This build illustrates how one can take an existing Thermaltake design and take it to new heights with some imagination and free time.

Lian Li continues to evolve the ever-cloned O11

You've likely seen this PC case from every brand

Lian Li struck gold when it originally launched the O11 PC case only to see it become a new form factor for mid-tower chassis. Almost every popular case brand has its version of the O11 from Lian Li yet the company continues to look at new ways to evolve its tried and heavily tested design. Enter the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact, a gorgeous expanded compartmentalized version of the older O11 with ample space for the largest graphics cards and AIO liquid coolers.

Whether planning a PC build with a lighter or darker theme, selecting the respective Lian Li O11 Vision Compact makes for a stunning platform to easily build a striking PC without unnecessary clutter taking up center stage. Throw in some Lian Li fans and you'll have all the tasteful RGB lighting you'll require, which is almost required in this case, thanks to the three-side tempered panel design.

Stay tuned to XDA for more Computex!

We're still on the ground at Computex in Taiwan and will continue to provide insight into all the excellent (and whacky!) products being shown to the public. You can expect to see more components, cases, builds, new releases, and — of course — AI.
