On Pokemon Day 2024, we were treated to a sneak peek at a second entry in the Legends series, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Promising to be an ambitious new adventure in the world of Pokemon, a lot of questions sprung up after the announcement. So far, we still have more questions than answers, but some careful investigation and digging have given us a better understanding of what’s in store with this title. It may not be the next full-generation title, but there’s a lot to be excited about with this title, so let’s dive into everything we know about it thus far.

Release date window
Pokémon Legends: Z-A has a release window of 2025, but that’s all we know for now. The only other little detail given is that it will be a simultaneous worldwide release, which we would’ve expected anyway.

Platforms
It should go without saying, but Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be a Switch exclusive. However, it was specifically stated to be coming to “Nintendo Switch systems,” which may imply a version on the current Switch and another on whatever next-generation console Nintendo is cooking up. Take that with a grain of salt.

Pokemon Legends Z-A Official Reveal Trailer
The reveal trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z-A is brief but does hide some secrets fans have sniffed out. The most obvious is that this game will take us back to Lumiose City, first featured in X and Y. Later, Nintendo clarified that the game will not only be focused on this citybut set entirely within it. As to who we are and what we’re doing in the city is still unknown. Fans speculate that the digital and futuristic style of the trailer is hinting at the game being set in the future, contrasting how Arceus was set in the past, but this is all just theorizing.
Gameplay
Being set within a single city is quite a departure from the past Legends game, which introduced us to an open-world-style game. We expect the entire city to be open to us and greatly expanded in scope, but who knows how the mechanics and flow of the game will change to accommodate this.
All we can do is guess, but we don’t expect a massive departure from the gameplay established in Legends Arceus and Scarlet and Violet, though we know that the Mega Evolutions will return here.
Preorder
We are still at least a year away from Pokémon Legends: Z-A, if not more, so preorders are still far off. Once the release date is set and preorders open, count on us to give you all the information.

The Witcher 4: everything we know so far
When talking about the best RPGs you can play right now, The Witcher 3 is going to be brought up. In fact, odds are that it will even appear in most people's best games of all time list, and for good reason. Inspired by the book series of the same name, the first Witcher game is one of the best PC games, and has now become a household name thanks to the success of the Netflix show. However, after the third game, CD Project Red moved on to Cyberpunk 2077 and we were left wondering if we'd tossed our last coin to the Witcher.
It seems there are still more stories to tell in The Witcher universe, with multiple projects in the works. The most interesting, of course, is the next step in the story, which we're currently calling The Witcher 4. We've taken our potions, oiled up our blades, and are ready to hunt down all the information we know so far about this highly anticipated upcoming game.

PS5 Pro: everything we know so far
Rumors are running rampant about a supposed PlayStation 5 Pro, or PS5 Pro for short. Just like we got a mid-generation upgrade with the PS4 Pro during the last console cycle, many people are expecting PlayStation to release an incrementally more powerful machine to bridge the gap between the launch unit and an eventual PlayStation 6. Leaks have been coming out from some fairly credible sources, with a lot of juicy and very specific details about what a hypothetical PS5 Pro could look like. As credible as these sources may be, we do still need to take everything we see with some skepticism until Sony officially confirms that this system even exists. Until then, here are all the rumors out there regarding the PS5 Pro.
Rumored release window
A constant release window that all leaks have pointed to is sometime in Fall of 2024. That's right around the corner, probably in the September through November range, meaning we should be getting an official announcement on the console if that is indeed the plan. It appears that PS5 Pro dev kits are now in the hands of more developers, who have been asked that PS5 Pro-enhanced games be submitted for certification in August. These developments point toward a 2024 release.

Persona 6: everything we know so far
Originally a spinoff series from the Shin Megami Tensei series, Persona has arguably become the more popular and known name among gamers. This series set itself apart by combining the monster-catching elements of the best Pokémon games with a deep and satisfying turn-based combat system. But the real kicker is the engrossing story and lovable characters you spend so many hours with. Now that we're several years out from Persona 5, and even from the Royal edition, everyone is looking toward the next entry in one of the best JRPG series out there. Release date speculation
Atlus and Sega haven't given any indication on when Persona 6 could be released. Some rumors and leaks suggest it could be within the next two years, but there's no way to be sure. The only thing we have regarding Persona 6 is an interview for Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight where series producer Kazuhisa Wada stated: "We are working on mid-to-long term plans, including new numbered entries, so that fans can constantly enjoy the Persona series starting next year."
Platforms
The Persona series used to be exclusive to PlayStation, but new entries have all come to most every platform, and we expect that to continue with Persona 6. There's a chance it might be a timed exclusive for PlayStation, but it seems safe to say Atlus will bring it to every platform eventually.
